the duvet

Prefer your duvet cosy and warm? Or perhaps you like to keep things light and airy? We created an all-seasons duvet that can do both – so you’ll wake up every morning at just the right temperature. Made out of 90% duck down, 10% duck feather.

Why eve

  • Sometimes, just one duvet won’t do. That’s why we designed a summer and a winter version that you can snap together to make one extra toasty duvet.
  • For the filling we used 90% duck down and 10% duck feathers. They keep the duvet cool in summer, warm in winter and add a little bit of extra drape.
  • A clever system of fabric ties and loops – we call them toggles – holds both duvets together. And if you also own a set of eve sheets you can even tie the duvets in place inside their cover.

Free delivery and returns

  • Delivery - We deliver straight to your doorstep, for free.
  • Return - The eve duvet is returnable within 30 days. For us to fully refund your purchase, the duvet must not have been used or washed, and should be returned to us in the original packaging.
  • Our guarantee - The duvet comes with a comprehensive 2 year guarantee. If it fails during that period, we'll exchange it for a brand new one. It's that simple.

engineered by evolution

You can’t perfect nature, so we didn’t try to. When sourcing materials, we found that ducks have exactly what we need to create the perfect duvet. It’s really very clever – they develop down as a natural insulator to regulate their temperature throughout the year, keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer. By filling it with duck down, we made sure the duvet works in exactly the same way.

About down

  • natural insulator - Down is the fluffy stuff that sits beneath a duck’s feathers. The 3D structure of duck down fibers is ideal for trapping air. It's a natural insulator and our considered choice of filling for the duvet
  • light and soft - Down regulates temperature. It’s also incredibly light and soft, so you get all the warming benefits without the weight - perfect for throwing over yourself when you jump into bed.
  • ethically certified - The duvet is made in Denmark, only using down/feather sourced from across Europe and only from ethically certified farms. In fact, we can trace our down to the exact farm and season it came from.

About the duvet casing

  • 100% cotton - The duvet casing is made from 100% cotton cambric fabric with a thread count of 233.
  • Soft and pliable - This particular thread count makes the duvet casing incredibly soft and pliable, while the tight weave ensures no down or feather fibres will escape, making it anti-allergenic and anti-dust mite too.
  • More airflow - The duvet casing is not just stitched together like a conventional duvet. We decided to create extra space by adding little gussets to each cell. This guarantees much better airflow, and that the down can move freely and never get squashed. Nice.

certifications and quality control

  • certified by Downafresh®, all of our down/feather is fully cleaned and subjected to repeat quality and hygiene testing.
  • the outer casing is certified by NOMITE – an anti-allergen standard that certifies the duvet as suitable for house dust mite allergy sufferers.
  • everything that goes into making the duvet (down, feather, case, thread, labels etc) is made without the use of harmful toxins or chemicals and as such has been awarded OEKO-TEX®(class 1). There are four different classes of the OEKO-TEX® 100 standard. Class 1 is the highest, and is the only one that is certifiably safe for babies.

we do duvets differently. better.

Who says you can have too much of a good thing? 40% down is quite average. The passable amount for a duvet to be considered a down-duvet is 60%. That just doesn’t seem good enough to us. When you have such a beautifully soft and fluffy gift from the bedding gods, we think you should use it. That’s why our duvet is stuffed with 90% real down inside.

combine 2 duvets for
all 4 seasons

The duvet comes in both Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter variations. You can even combine both and double them into an ‘all seasons’ duvet set for those extra cold winter nights.

Let’s talk togs

    • Our 4.5 tog duvet is perfectly suited for the warmer months, offering you a cooler night’s sleep due to its lighter weight.
    • We also have a heavier 9 tog duvet, designed to warm your cockles on those chilly winter evenings.
    • When it gets super cold, you can toast up that tog by combining both duvets for a luxuriously thick and cosy 13.5 tog duvet.

How they fit together

    • We found a pretty cool way to prevent the duvet from slipping around and bunching up inside the sheets while you sleep.
    • The inside of the duvet cover has concealed corner ties that easily lace through a special loop on the corners of the duvet, fixing the two snugly together.
    • This same method can be used to fix the two duvets together, simply by threading the ties through both sets of duvet corner loops, forming a complete closed system.
    • No eve sheets? No problem – the all seasons duvet set comes with a pack of eve toggles. To connect your duvets, just thread one toggle through each of the duvets’ corner loops and snap them together. Simple.

ethically sourced

Maintaining high ethical and quality standards is of the utmost importance to us. We’re proud of the fact that all of the down used for the duvet is sourced in Europe, passing the strictest controls and regulations.

  • All down comes from free-range ducks. Not only does this ensure the ducks enjoy the best quality of life, it actually improves the quality of the down too. You could say it’s ‘wing-wing’.

Farmed in the EU

  • We work with a Danish supplier that sources down and feather from European farms only – this means you can rest assured the duvet meets the highest ethical standards and quality controls.

EDFA regulated

  • Our down is regulated by the European Down and Feather Association, the institution that regulates quality and ethical compliance within the European industry to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained.
